The Nov. 3 general election is just a little more than a week away, and the final week of early voting begins today. This is an important election with several statewide constitutional amendments, a Harris County bond election and, locally, the CFISD Board of Trustees Election.
Four Trustee positions are on the ballot, two of them
contested:
Position 1
- Thomas Jackson, incumbent (unopposed).
Position 2
- Christine Hartley, incumbent (unopposed).
Position 3
- Natalie Blasingame; and
- Darcy Mingoia, incumbent.
Position 4
- Debbie Blackshear; and
- Pam Redd.

Voting is a key component of the freedom and democracy we
