Early Voting - One More Week!

Español

The Nov. 3 general election is just a little more than a week away, and the final week of early voting begins today. This is an important election with several statewide constitutional amendments, a Harris County bond election and, locally, the CFISD Board of Trustees Election.

Four Trustee positions are on the ballot, two of them contested:

Position 1
  1. Thomas Jackson, incumbent (unopposed).
Position 2
  1. Christine Hartley, incumbent (unopposed).
Position 3
  1. Natalie Blasingame; and
  2. Darcy Mingoia, incumbent.
Position 4
  1. Debbie Blackshear; and
  2. Pam Redd.
A Candidate Profiles / Voter’s Guide is available on our website as a downloadable PDF for you to learn more about the Board candidates. You can also watch the Board Candidate Forum on our YouTube channel, which was recorded on Oct. 13 at the Berry Center.

Early voting concludes on Oct. 30, and Harris County has a number of convenient locations in the CFISD area:

These can also be accessed on page 3 of the voter’s guide. You can also view your voter-specific ballot and polling locations on Harris County Clerk Stan Stanart’s website by entering in your name and address.

Voting is a key component of the freedom and democracy we enjoy in the United States. I encourage our entire community to exercise that right, and go vote today!
